1. About us

This website is operated by The Chandler Soap & Wax Pty Ltd (ABN 69 615 969 090), trading as The Chandler Soap & Wax Co., of Perth, Western Australia ("we", "us", "our"). By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.

2. Our products

Our candles and soaps are made by hand in small batches, so small variations in colour, finish and fragrance strength are a natural part of each piece and are not a fault. Colours may also look slightly different on your screen.

Please read and follow the candle care and safety information on our Candles page. Our soaps are for external use only; if irritation occurs, stop using the product.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST. Postage is shown separately at checkout. We may change prices at any time, but changes won't affect orders we have already accepted.

If a product is listed at an incorrect price because of an obvious error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

4. Discount codes

From time to time we may share discount codes. A code can only be used once per order, applies to candles, soaps and duos (not postage), can't be exchanged for cash, and can't be combined with any other offer. We may change or withdraw a code at any time.

5. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it by email. We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is out of stock) and, if we do, we will refund any amount you have paid.

6. Delivery

We deliver within Australia only. Postage is $12 for orders under $100 and free for orders over $100. We aim to post orders within 72 hours of receiving them. See Delivery & returns for full details.

7. Returns and refunds

Our returns policy is set out on our Delivery & returns page and forms part of these terms.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

8. Website content

All images, illustrations, text and logos on this website belong to us or are used with permission. Please don't copy or reuse them without our written consent.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and apart from your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products, including any loss caused by not following the care and safety instructions.

10. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you agree to the jurisdiction of its courts.
